Two Parts

The Bible contains two collections. One is called the Old Testament and the other is called the New Testament.

  • Part 1 is the Old Testament.
  • Part 2 is the New Testament.

What’s the Difference Between the Two?

  • The Old Testament (OT) was written from 1400 BC to 450 BC. The New Testament (NT) was written in the first century AD only.
  • There are 39 books in the OT and 27 in the NT.
  • We learn a lot from the OT, but we as Christians are under the NT, obligated to practice its teachings today.
